Spring Concert at Saint James' Church
Saturday 7 May 2005

Saint James' Church was host to the North Grenville Concert Choir (NGCC) on Saturday 7 May 2005, as they presented a selection of sacred choral music.  Led by Jim Watson (second row, far left above), the choir delighted the audience with an excellent performance, including

Randall Thompson:

W. A. Mozart:

Louis Vierne:

W. A. Mozart:

The Last Words of David

Coronation Mass

Solemn Mass

Ave Verum

NGCC has some connections to our parish.  As a boy in 1952, Jim Watson was a member of the Saint James' choir; also, he's a cousin of Terry Tomkins, who is a tenor in the Saint James' choir.  One more connection comes through David Huddleson, another of our own tenors, who is also a member of NGCC; he's seen above in the second last row, far right.
