Night at the Proms

"The Last Night at the Proms", originating at the Albert Hall in England, has become somewhat of an institution here in Ottawa. This is true especially for many of us at Saint James' parish, who appear to attend in greater numbers than any other parish in Ottawa. Thirty-five of us turned up at Saint Matthias' church, starting out with the pub supper (bangers and mash, mushy peas) in the church hall, and going on to an evening of lively music in the church itself.
