Andrew's Visit

On Sunday 9 December, we welcomed Reverend David Andrew, his wife Terri and daughter Rachel, returning to this parish where David was for so many years a member. Now Vicar of Clayton, his visit is the last of our series of visits marking the 125th anniversary of Saint James'.
Also present was Reverend Allan Meakin and his wife Jean, shown above left on either side of Ann Coles. Allan and Jean, now retired, are well known throughout the Diocese for their excellent work in a number of parishes.
As on many other occasions, the children helped Father Rick cut the cake. Judy Marples had on display a number of items from the Craft Group.
