A Night for 'M'

On Saturday 29 May 1999, the Saint James' choir presented another in their series of off-beat musical dramas.  The evening started with a delicious meal catered by Sharon McLean.  Then Joy Clarke introduced and narrated the story - a follow-up from the murder mystery presented in 1994.  Featured again were the original characters of Crêpe Suzette, reverse soloist Pamela, the ghost of Saint James', and Inspector Spruce.   New ones included the Band of English gypsies, Debussh, Queen of the Gypsies, and an extraordinary group know as the Streetwalkers.  Mark the Madman of Manotick made a stunning appearance, and the audience was left baffled but entertained.  The real star of the show remained behind the scenes; in a fine display of versatility, Frank Sisson wrote, directed, produced and choreographed this exuberant display of thespian talent.

Shown below are just a few members of the production.
