Anniversary Eucharist

On Sunday 9 September Saint James' Church was honoured by a visit from Bishop Peter Coffin, who presided at the celebration of a Eucharist marking 125 years of witness in the Manotick community.
The church was filled, as parishioners, visitors
and guests gathered to celebrate this important milestone.
Both the Senior and Youth Choirs sang anthems at the service. The Senior choir welcomed back former choir members, shown above in the choir stalls with beige gowns (the foreground group is the Youth choir); augmented by these guests, the Senior choir numbered 32, the largest in many years.
Following the recessional hymn, parishioners went to Tomkins Hall for dinner and a chat with friends.
